Tracy made the bird and assigned carving duties to Manoj. We had turkey with all the usual suspects plus some pretty fantastic desserts.

Got up early to bake this for this afternoon's Thanksgiving gathering at Carrie, Tracy, and Michelle's. What it's lacking in appearance it makes up in aroma.
Bayard, Tim, Steven, Carrie, Mary Frances, Jessica, Shep, and Manoj helped celebrate my midwestern-ness by watching the OSU/Michigan game.
Mike and Mary Frances shortly before we dug into our homemade chicken parm. Having green tortellini counts as a vegetable, right?
My captain and I wandered Yonge Street looking for a Thai restaurant that was recommended to me. We couldn't find it but stumbled on this gem where I had the schwarma plate. The combo of colors, flavors, and textures made my belly very happy.
Manoj and I went on another taco adventure late this afternoon and ate in the back of a carneceria. While there I picked up the goodies to make this late dinner: homemade corn tortillas, skirt steak, and a green salsa.
Will and Ryan performing for the Redeemed Ministries benefit concert. Great music, company, and desserts for an even greater cause.
The education center next to the headquarters of Heifer International was a great find on my walk around Little Rock. The free museum exhibits what the non-profit is doing (and what ordinary people can do) to fight poverty, hunger, HIV/AIDS, and the like. What a cool organization.
