Look at all the folks who made the drive to El Tacomiendo in Douglasville to celebrate my birthday!
My beautiful wife waits patiently in the terminal for our flight back to Atlanta. Thanks for letting us visit, Costa Rica!
This was our last lunch at Paradisus Playa Conchal and it was a good one. Sad to say goodbye to the resort tomorrow.
Mary Frances and our awesome butler, Oscar. He--along with John and Luis--made our stay in the Royal Service part of the resort absolutely awesome.
We walked the beach this morning before the vendors set up shop and before the overcast skies burned off. Once the dog realized we wouldn't give him any attention he scurried off to find someone else.
Most everything we were served was delicious and all of it was presented well. This was a lunch appetizer of shrimp with sweet onions, avocado, and tomatoes.
We spent a lot of time eating at Gabi Club and lounging by the Royal Service pool in the background.
Look who was there to welcome us on our honeymoon: Bryan (the pastor who married us) and Ali! They were on our flight down to meet the mission trip team in Brasilito, a town within walking distance of our resort. If only I had a picture of Mary Frances' face when we met up with them in the Atlanta airport before the flight.
