Contrary to the last line of "Take Me out to the Ballgame," we certainly DO care if we ever get back. And the best part about this trip: we still have a fun-filled weekend ahead!
We stumbled upon a bar full of Michigan fans for an early dinner. Nothing like greasy food, Michigan beer (Bell's), and a winning score (so far) to close out our time in Chicago.
To finally celebrate Mary Frances' birthday I gave her three gifts, from vague to very specific: peanuts, Cracker Jacks, and a Cubs visor. We just landed in Chicago for a day-trip to see the ballgame!
The table was already set with ample food as we took our seats with six strangers at Mrs. Wilkes'. I love that the server said, "The food's already been blessed. Dig in."
We went to get burgers and shakes with some of the other CAPT guys after the ceremony since the reception was still a few hours away. Everyone but us was under-dressed.
This is a shot outside the church following Adelle and Elijah's beautiful wedding. We tried to angle the camera to capture the perfectly blue sky and a bit of the church.
