Tried making tacos de lengua but it didn't go so well. Here's the tongue before cooking. After it was done we were left with a stinky condo and I went to buy pork shoulder for carnitas. In the words of Elijah, "#fail."

John and Sharon gave me the book Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day for Christmas. Their method produces some delicious results! If only you could hear the crust crackling in this picture.

Manoj and I spent a few minutes experimenting with an idea this evening: poblanos stuffed with cheese, bacon, and onion. Hard to go wrong with that combination.
